Christian optometry mission to the developing world

Future Missions

May 2017: Kinshasa

In May Dieudonne will be returning with Rob Dingman who will be teaching a pastors conference which has become an annual fixture.

June 2017: Zimbabwe

UPDATE: The mission to Zimbabwe due to take place in June has had to be postponed due to difficulties in getting clearances for entry as an optometry mission.

This will be partnering with Missionary Ventures working on the shores of lake Kariba. A boat will be used to take the team along the shore line visiting various villages where we will be carrying out mobile clinics and doing ministry. The team will consist of up to 7 people, ideally two optometrists one or two dispensers and others for screening and ministry.

June 2017: Zambia

This will be partnering with Missionary Ventures again working in some of the prisons in Lusaka. This is a great opportunity to really impact some desperate people with Christ’s love. Ideally we need two optometrists, two dispensers and a screener, so five in all. The local church will also be involved in ministry.

November 2017: The Delta, Nigeria

In November Ian will be returning to the Delta with Alex Tinson and David and Shirley of New Foundations. We hope to take an optometrist this year to provide training in retinoscopy and to carry out some mobile clinics in the surrounding villages.
